I never revisited them, it's been 15 years, never had the BBQ either, just remember when my mom would take me shopping with her I'd always ask for a cup, they were like 1.75 and I couldn't get enough.

I remember them always being hot, and fresh tasting to me, but I wasn't exactly a food critic at 9 years old lol.

Plan your meals better man. Gotta take care of yourself. Is there at least a better option than Kroger's?

Sprouts has the best cooked rotisserie chickens. The Kroger ones are quite terrible.

But apart from that, I have no problem with the grocery aspect of Kroger. HEB is great of course, but now all of the HEBs are huge and the shopping experience and parking can be hectic as all hell. Kroger I know where everything is and I'm in and out right away. They also have good briskets on sale pretty regularly and other great meat specials.

Yeah, the meat quality and sales are solid.

Sam's club has the best rotisserie chicken, absolutely amazing. I usually buy two when I go because I end up eating one by myself. Kroger's chicken is trash, I have no idea why they make them or who buys them, their turkey legs are bomb af though. Heb's are always soggy and the seasoning is meh, go to Sam's
