has anyone here ever done that? i did last night for the first time ever, and i was pleasently suprised. the girl was hot!
it was a girl im almost certain. when i saw her i didnt think i had a chance in hell with her. but then later that night she told me the same thing.
I'm about to be engaged to a wonderful gal I met over the internet. Some people may try to embarass you over something like this. Be embarassed for them.
i'm glad for you. i had a good friend who met some girl on the internet... she turned out to be a psycho.
I've met a few people over the net. Some good dates...a couple of them became my girlfriend for a time. The good thing about the net is the same as the bad thing, you know them mostly by their thoughts, feelings and ideas as reflected in what they type to you. This is bad, because it is so very easy to lie on the internet, without fear of being caught. I advise a first meeting on neutral ground, in a public place. That you both arrive in your own cars and leave the same way. Then once you have established a threshold of comfort, the relationship can proceed.
met my girlfriend over the net... moved to TX to be with her. Im proud and I have no regrets. I'm glad it happened the way it did.
I think its' more than possible it will turn out ok, but it's more likely that it won't turn out great. Obviously, people are much more likely to boast about their success stories than the "she killed her parents" ones.
ok guys here is the update. (extremely funny that i stopped and took the time to say this on here before i left) but the girl i met just called and got in an accident on the way to San Antonio on I35. so now im leaving to go pick her up. she called me crying and somewhat hysterical. scared the crap out of me. life can be so surreal sometimes.
Always Remember the Code AOL Chicks = immensly slutty, immature and completely stupid ... Yahoo Chicks = slutty after the first half hour of small talk, quasi-psychotic and borderline stalker . . . Anything else... a little from column A, a little from column B
Yea, I met like (God, I don't know) over 40 people off the Internet. Biggest bunch of freaks I have ever seen in my whole life. The event was last year and was called the Smeggy World Tour. Seriously, I know what you are talking about pele. I was out on a date with a girl that I met off the Net yesterday (it was the 2nd time we have gone out). My advice is just take it slow. Have plenty of emails and maybe one or two phone conversations before you decide you want to meet face-to-face. Malcontent's advice is good about when you do finally decide to meet face-to-face. Good luck and I hope she is alright.
