Westbrook is better than Wall as a first option. But Wall is better next to Harden because he can shoot. That was their plan. A bad one because Harden was gone no matter what.

Players yelling at each other happens all the time, and coaches standing back and letting it happen also happens -- I remember it happening during D'Antoni's days here. I think that's fairly common -- unless he was talking about his granny being bow-legged or something. Then there's a problem. No idea about if what OP's saying happened in the lockerroom or not, but ... meh. Let the tank roll!

I remember someone here saying Wall howled into the night like a wounded wolf that “why dosent Harden love me like he loves Westbrook “.

    Context matters.

D'Antoni was never a part of a 20 game losing streak.

Yeah, and? So players yell at each other whether they're winning or losing. And coaches often let them.

If context matters, what was being said between the two?

So why specifically call out D'Antoni if this occurs on all teams with all coaches?

It appeared you were drawing some specific parallel with Silas and D'Antoni where clearly there is none.

And context can apply to many things.

Let em fight it would be more entertaining than watching either of them play basketball.

No. I loved D'Antoni as a coach for the most part. I'm just saying people screamed when D'Antoni let players supposedly do whatever they want, yell at each other in huddles (Paul, Harden), supposedly didn't hold players accountable, etc. He addressed all that. It was his style. Let the players figure it out - just give them the boundaries to work within. I saw something similar being stated in this thread - that Silas was standing in the background letting the players go at it. That's what D'Antoni always did, too, and people jumped all over him. I couldn't care less. These are grown men that should be able to take criticism from each other as long as it doesn't get out of hand or come to a fight. All I care is that we somehow maximize our not-so-great chance at a #1 or #2 pick this season.

    FURTHER DEVELOPMENTS on the story

Wall threw a basketball across the locker room at house.
    He missed

House picked up the ball to put it on top of the lockers, but as he reached up, he leaned away to avoid contact with the lockers, and (despite not being hit) ended up sprawled on his back, legs in the air.

EGO saw it all happen, and sqwuaked furiously

So has Silas been basically relegated to substitute teacher status ?

Westbrook would have taken the rockets to a 8th-10th ish draft position. Wall fits the tank better
