Whew was worried for a second, the TankAThon continues!

 

These dudes are all in on this tank. Not a single Rocket looked pissed off after the buzzer. Except John Wall, he's always pissed off.

 

Remember folks, nothing matters until 2030.

Stone’s been full of sh*t since his 1st press conference when he was acting like Tilman is an upper echelon owner

 

This should be the theme going forward for the rest of the season, development for three quarters, back to business in the forth. Finesse.

You realize no one can admit to tanking? The NBA seriously made rules against it during the Sixers (Process) ‍♂️

Good game. These are two pretty evenly matched teams. A few thoughts:

• Thought Porter had a bad game. He had a number of key turnovers late, and missed a number of easy shots. He has got to get better at shot selection. He has a habit of getting past his man, is open for a 6-7 foot shot, but instead forces it closer to the rim, allowing defenders to close out on him at which point he gets in the air to pass it out to the 3-point line or put up a high-difficulty shot. 0-7 from 3 is also just bad.
• As good a game as Olynyk had, he had multiple chances late, WIDE OPEN, to knock down a 3 and didn't do so.
• Wall is the worst shooting PG in the league. It doesnt ever feel like it's going to go in any more. He just seems to toss it in the hoop direction aimlessly. The good thing is he only shot it 12 times.
• I thought we had good bench play. I thought Martin deserved more minutes than he got and would liked to have seen a little more offensive aggressiveness out of Wilson.

Memphis is a .500 team. I think with all of our players healthy and playing well, we're probably close to that level, maybe a little below (a contending for play-in game type). I'm hoping that we can get a few more wins along the way without compromising our draft position or odds. Funny thing is if Wall gets shut down it probably hurts our draft chances, so maybe we need him to stay in the lineup jacking up shots lol.

John wall is the ultimate tank commander. There are times I believe this team could win 40% of its games without him. He is a historic figure.

 

Defens-wise, mem is much more better than minny, that's why we looks not so comfortable, esp KPJ n wall
