Tony buzbee filing lawsuit against Deshaun Watson? Hints at mistreating women

He's certainly an idiot. This whole ordeal is just sad.

 

I`m surprised this has been going on for so long and no one called him out, I am sure they didnt want the publicity and him being a high profile QB didn't help.........Not saying he is guilty of everything, but I`ve read enough now to say he is a bona fide creep who needs some help. His reputation will NEVER be the same, I am sure he will play in the future but I hope its for someone else, I`ve seen enough. And thanks goodness no more horrible HEB commercials

She continued to massage him after he removed the towel and she even gave a reason why he was erect and said it happens sometimes during a massage.

I am not saying what he was not doing wrong I just don't see the crime.

This was not an assault and she even said she did not think it was assault.

And paying for sex is not the only definition of being a sex addict and having particular kinks can be a symptom of the addiction.

I don't know all of the particulars involving sexual assault but this does not seem to be that.

It may not have seemed like assault to her, but it does paint a pattern. If he took it a little further then it could be considered assault I’d think.

 

No... but until criminal charges are filed, that's the extent of all of this.

Its fairly clear his intention was to "get off".... this is sexual addiction. In a lot of cases, going through the potential "chase", and the possibility of rejection, is part of feeding the addiction... which is why it likely happened again and again (and again).

The question is if the worst that comes out of this is that he has this problem... which is just as documented an addiction as any alcohol or drug problem... then he'll have to seek help and go through the possible steps to recover. I don't think it will prevent him from being an NFL QB again, but we're passed the "he didn't like who he hired as the GM" process of the Watson vs. Texans dilemma.

 

Assault has to be a physical act and she was the one doing the physical action.

The point is he did not take it further.

No it isn't, he has 20 civil suits filed against him with claims of sexual misconduct all the way up to forced sodomy. Being a possible sex addict is not his top concern.

Getting off would be fine if it were consensual, but the claim from nearly 20 women is that it wasn't. Sexual misconduct and assault are different than sexual addiction.

I think he plays football again, but I don't think the narrative (or likely the facts) are going to be that he is just a sex addict. Had they caught him in a vice sting then sure........ but that isn't what happened, he has nearly 20 women saying he did more than that....

If Derrick Rose can play basketball again after a gang rape, then most likely Watson will play again too..... it would take some pretty compelling evidence to keep Watson from playing again..... he just isn't going to be "It" in the NFL anymore like he possibly could have been...

 

To me the most interesting part of that SI article is that he reached out to the woman again later to schedule a massage and didn't remember he had used her before. After she told him "I only do massage" he then proceeded to not book the massage. Doesn't look too good if he's still trying to pretend like these were genuine massage appts he was booking and these women are making things up.

 

Did I miss something? When did forced sodomy come into play? I don't remember seeing that in any of the lawsuits. I thought the worst that was claimed was forced oral sex.

 

Though most think of anal sex when they hear the word, technically oral sex is sodomy as well

 

If she were unlicensed like many of these are. I'd make her quit. If she was licensed and kept massaging him after Watson threw his towel off, I'd be pretty angry with her for not asking him to leave. I'd be more pissed at Watson of course.

Its going to be hard for Rusty to go down the "consensual" pathway without getting into some real sketchy areas in regards to sex worker trade and whether or not money was exchanged for services, and the legality of all of that, etc. Right now, the unlicensed massage therapists that occasionally offer "extras" whenever the price is right are not going to do much to incriminate themselves (nor should they). They can't say it was purely transactional.

I believe Watson likely took things too far in a lot of these encounters... past what they are normally accustomed to. Then the line gets fairly blurry between acts that are considered part of the package vs. sexual assault.

He really should have paid for silence. But its also clear he has a real problem, and will need real help once this is all settled.

SI doing their own reporting does add a little legitimacy to this. Before all you had was a scumbag lawyer possibly looking to get paid.

I agree with everything you wrote. I do think if Hardin gets hold of the online ads many of these women that it will be clear that their were some sketchy stuff going down. Busbee not identifying these women does give them time to delete their ads though. Watson isn't going to remember who or how many he banged.

Look, Deshaun has a sexual fetish that he used the wrong outlet for. There are professional sex workers that could fulfill that need. Maybe watch too much online p*rn fed the fantasy that all masseuses would do this type of fantasy. I don't think Watson is a predator, I do think he is naive and being rich and famous fed his behavior.
