Drummond: Buy-out looming

I 10000% wouldn't. Wouldn't even want him at 10M honestly. It's just wishful thinking so that the Lakers don't get him.

 

Twenty five years ago he would be a Hall of Famer........ now he isn't interested in playing the modern game. He doesn't come out to defend like is required in the modern game, he doesn't really shoot enough or well enough from outside. He turns the ball over a lot too. He doesn't hit his free throws either. So he has a lot of flaws for the modern game.

What he does is rebound as well as anyone since Dennis Rodman, he blocks shots, gets a lot of steals, scores inside and really keeps everyone else from getting in the paint.

 

So if his counting stat defense and rebounding were transferred into Marc Gasol you're talking about a modern Hall of Fame center. But he should help the Lakers so long as he isn't some sort of malcontent.

 

Would love for him to go to the Clippers
