I don’t think it’s too big of a deal. It’s not necessarily bad to not throw said guard in as the primary ball handler from day 1, rather introduce him more slowly. Wall would be gone after (hopefully) their rookie season or halfway through their sophomore season where’d they’d get more responsibility handling the ball. I assume they’d split it then with KPJ. It’s something to think about but I think you can navigate it successfully.
he’s not fit for the NBA. I think I’ve seen turtles move faster than him. He will be good playing overseas though lol don’t waste a draft pick on this guy. I just linked back up with Kyle wiltjer he’s killing it right now overseas but wasn’t cut out for the NBA.
just my opinion, but I think Kuminga has the biggest bust potential out of the consensus top 5 due to the shooting capability he’s displayed so far I think he could be a 2-way stud, or a Josh Jackson level bust
Kuminga has the biggest bust potential, but also has the highest ceiling out of the others because of his two-way potential. He’s extremely raw, but also only 18. High risk, high reward.
I think Green is actually a bit more talented than Cade, but Cade fits the Rockets better. He just seems like he can be a floor raiser.
He’s intriguing, no doubt, but Mobley has higher upside and much less bust potential, IMO. But I understand if we pick 4th, this is probably the way to go.
Cade may not be as athletic as prime Grant Hill or as lockdown defensively but he is better shooter. But this comparison is impressive if Cade is even close.
I don’t get the Cade-Grant Hill comparisons. They play nothing alike. I’d argue Jalen Green is closer to Grant than Cade is.
Green is getting MJ, Vince and Lavine comparisons because of his crazy hops and violent finishes. Agree that Cade comparisons to Grant over the top but Grant Hill was an elite defender and playmaker which Green is not and Cade is to a lesser extent.
I think it's funny all y'all are debating about who is the better Prospect, and I would put money ($50? Anyone) that tilman and stone trade the pick even if it's #1. Forget Cade, kuminga, green, mobley..we can't get rid of wall for two yrs, cade plays the same position as porter, suggs plays wall POS, mobley plays wood POS, green plays porter/wall POS We are NOT keeping the pick..tipjar bet also $50 .I'll do it Anyone? Oh plus not only do they all okay pos we have tilman is not going to wait 3 yrs for a skinny 19 yr old to develop..(cuz he's losing money and wants to win now) we got two already kj and km, doubt they want a starting lineup full of teenagers Kuminga at power forward is the only logical choice since we need a pf but his outside shot sucks, so you forget him playing the 5 out offense Silas ain't going anywhere folks..him and stone go out for dinner We are tradeing the pick probably for mpj of Denver
And mpj has a degeneration of his back disorder Forget surgery..age alone causes back problems to get worse by the yr He also thinks covid is a hoax(headcase) gud luck with mpj I rather have mobley and move wood to pf so he's not abused by bigger centers on the defensive end But no one here wants twin towers
Here is the thing if you can get a skilled big that has AD potential you get him. Evan Mobley then all others. The potential of Wood, KPJ, and Mobley would be great.
I am also of the belief that there’s a good chance they’d trade the pick, but trading it for someone like Bradley Beal is far more likely than trading it for Porter I don’t believe they want to undergo some multi-year rebuild or truly want to wait for some rookie to develop...they were hoping Oladipo would keep us in playoff contention, but that ended up being a fail and a tank job ensued against the wishes of ownership and the FO...they don’t actually want what is currently happening
