Griffin: Actually, I like the trade. I'm looking forward to going to Houston and playing with Cuttino Mobley and Steve Francis. So, I'm real excited about it. Q: Would you like to play with Hakeem? Griffin: Yeah, I'd like to play with Hakeem. He's a guy I could learn a lot from. He's won championships, so he's a guy I could learn a lot from. Q: Does this trade make you realize it's a business? Griffin: Most definitely, it is. That was just a wakeup call to let me know. I'm glad I got it early. Q: Do you think the fit wasn't right with Jersey? Griffin: I'm not really sure. But, I know I'm going to go in and fit with Houston, and hopefully I can do that. Q: What was your reaction to the trade? Griffin: I was just surprised because I was looking forward to going and playing for the Nets, but now I'm in a better situation. Houston is on the verge of being a great team. I'm in a better situation. Q: Do you think the Nets made a mistake? Griffin: I wouldn't say they made a mistake because they didn't know the type of player they would have been getting. Hopefully, I can go to Houston and prove to everybody what type of player I am. Q: How surprised were you? Griffin: Real surprised because I was doing interviews and they pulled me out and told me. I was just very surprised about it. ------------------
