didn't see the game, but saw the highlights.

looks like a regular harden night that would be a season's best game for 99.9% of the league.....

What a bum. Couldn't score 50 OR get a triple double. 40 pt game is so pedestrian.

Off to bed maybe when I wake up harden will still be with the rockets. This will suck for a long time.

they're lucky they won't run into lieutenant general wall and his army of megatanks in the playoffs.

I really wonder if he could score 100 if he were playing selfishly. He was often pulled off the court early when he was on the rockets when he had over 50.

I would say no because teams would just start trapping it at half court. If they just let him go one on one all game like Kobe 81 pt game I think he could. But no one guards him like that anymore.

Didn't he have like 60 and sit most of the 4th once? I don't remember him playing selfishly that game, but at the same time we were short healthy players. Maybe I'm crazy.

iirc, the ATL broadcast team were super salty that game. Constantly chirping about how Harden statpadding or something.

Yes he did I've seen some amazing games from him. But the problem is he's soo efficient that if he has 60 in 3 quarters we are up by 20 and he gets benched. He would actually need to miss more to score 100.

yeah, teams would start double teaming him at halfcourt

if he was still with this sorry squad and teams guarded him how they did in 17-18 where they didn’t double him that much and would switch every screen leaving whatever weak defender or big Harden wanted alone on an island, then I could see an 80 point game

Harden is going make Blake relevant again. If I were power forward that has lost some quickness, I would go join Harden. He makes stars out of has beens.

harden is gaining huge traction from around the league for mvp. which is crazy because this would be his worst season of all his seasons that he was in contention to actually win it in the past. but whatever floats their boat( im happy either way)

It's pretty funny to see Harden become the media's favorite player.

Who would've thought we'd see the day.

Nah, I think this season statistically is better than his first MVP run when he got 2nd to Stephen.
