Why are people I like arguing?

 

Silas is in on the tank - he doesn’t want to lose every game but he is very aware of the Rockets Standings - tanking this season benefits him more than anyone if we get a top 3 pick

it’s not hard to look disappointed

 

it helps to have a sense of humor and some people are coming up short in that department

The Rockets have had......ZERO .... drafts with Silas at the helm.

Silas. Man, I don’t know. I said earlier he’d get a pass from me for this season, but it’s getting almost impossible to defend the guy now. I do not believe that he is trying to lose, but I am starting to wonder if he has any idea how to win. He can’t let John Wall continue to do whatever the hell he wants to do out there without any consequences. That’s on Silas. He needs to control his team. He doesn’t look like a head coach at all right now. This was inexcusable.

 

Wall will have KPJr being a bystander...I hope they shut him down

we will still lose just as much with KPJr running the show, but at least we’ll be better able to see what he’s got

 

I honestly don’t believe it was a tank. They are just putrid. Wall was a one-man napalm bomb.

Imagine blaming a coach when

he was hired to coach a team with 2 MVPs and Wood

he developed a system expecting them

shorten preseason and then trades and injuries

limited practice time with new players

Wood out for over a month

if Rockets was a 10-14 seed the same folks complaining about tanking would be saying why aren’t we tanking

just making noise for no damn reason

 

I guess I was one on the "not real fans" who watched in person as we won our first NBA Championship. I've watched a lot of Rockets games over the years and this was among the worst...it was a choke job pure and simple. NO, we didn't magically decide in the 4th qtr. that after playing brilliantly we would lay down like a cheap hooker and not score another point. What happened was a pure case of hero ball with Wall forgetting he has 4 teammates on the floor with him. Not the 1st time it's happened, won't be the last. The guy is all about him and has no picture of playing as a team. Silas doesn't seem to have the respect or control of his team.What's really sad is that we were trying to win IMO.

 

All I care about Rockets is how we keep our lottery pick.

Winning games now is meaningless!

Every loss is actually a win for us at this point. Not sure why everyone is upset today. This was the best outcome. Play a close game and let the team behind you in the standing comeback and win. Perfectly drawn up. Way to go John Wall!
