Do you think texans are behind texans watson allegations?

I’d like to point out I posted: “don’t let this distract you from the fact that Easterby still sucks” but I got sarcastic responses about how what Watson has done is worse. Like I know this is bad on Watson, but Easterby still sucks! And so does our decision making. Which is why I’m 90% confident we come out of this off-season with no QB and no picks/players to show...

 

They couldn’t trade him without disclosing this problem to the other team.

The Texans knew about rumors going around about Watson’s lifestyle and where trying to intervene in the locker room. They didn’t know the extent. Rumor is Watson’s mom contacted the Texans about Deshaun, not the other way around.

 

Where is that rumor coming from?

 

It's starting to look like the Texans were PROTECTING Watson and tried to shift with this culture change as a possible intervention. Watson handled it poorly and the Texans could no longer protect him and now that news is out, no one can.

 

It could be as simple as the Texans knew about these accusations or the possibility of sketchy foul play by Watson but were brushing it under the rug... Watson really wanted out and the Texans are like okay you wanna play that game? You're no longer under our protection then... And let's let these accusations run wild.

You never know at this point.

so they were protecting him? thats why they didnt want to trade him, because then the media would find about?
if they think the texans are evil for doing this to Watson, then they could have traded him without the other team know about it.

they trade him, and NFL find out and punish the texans, with losing a draft pick? well for the texans it could be better losing a draft pick over having the face of the franchise being penalized for sexual assault.

 

I stopped listening to rumors after the Altuve buzzer one. Anyone can make an untruth seem believable

Have they even released a statement like we are aware of the accusations and looking into it. We take this very seriously etc.

Kind of weird they haven’t. Granted they did fire their PR person but still.

When I was a kid I thought the Tooth Fairy was behind a cash for baby teeth scam. I wised up. Maybe the OP will too.

 

Perhaps the Texans knew of these sessions. Perhaps the reason why BOB was never fired when he should’ve been fired long ago because he had this information handy as well. Who knows.

What I can say is that no way in the world are the Texans be behind these allegations.
