Team does suck but healthy we wouldn’t be even close to holding on to our Top 4 pick - but folks think having LaVert and Allen would magically make us better, which wouldn’t be the case.

You see higher value in LaVert - I don’t
You probably also see higher value in Herro - I don’t

Those players are not franchise changers - we already have Eric Gordon and Wall contracts to try and shed, I don’t want a younger Dipo to add to that pile (give me the cap space)

this team is never healthy. so that doesn't matter. lavert and allen were better assets, that's the point

They're certainly going to fetch better value than this embarrassing deal they did for dipo

He objectively more valuable. Everyone around the league is saying that. Bobby Marks on the jump just said that and he also said that teams are calling around the league saying how stupid it was to even acquire Oladipo in the first place instead of Lavert.

i have faith we can be a playoff team in 1-2 years not the 15 years plus the Knicks take
but we should have kept Dinwittie and Allen

Allen is not going to fetch Clev anything

Neither is LaVert better than we already got.

Like I said look at OKC and BOS .. been collecting assets for years - Rockets need to prepare for the next batch of young stars (25-30) because in 2 years

    KD will be 34
    Harden will be 33
    AD 30
    Lillard 32
    Kawahii 31

Allen would fetch plenty on the market, especially as a extremely young big playing the way he is at 22. he needed more minutes to show his value and he got that

Levert is 26 and a bonafied scorer. Hes still young enough to fetch value.

What the rockets got for dipo is complete trash

okc hasn't been collecting assets for years. They literally just started when pg13 left 2 years ago when he wanted to get away from westbrick. And boston has 2 of the best young stars in the league.

how about getting something of value? Dipo has no value. When a significant part of the trade fir your star has no value isn’t that a mistake?

You going off what TV folks say not looking at the numbers - that’s how misinformation works in the political world

Dipo is clearly a better player https://basketball.realgm.com/player/Caris-LeVert/Comparison/42322/Victor-Oladipo/22337

The value is in the pick swap and cap space... what do y’all not understand about that. That’s more important to the Rockets

ITs not just about what TV folks are saying, its about what the Media like Bobby Marks are saying as well as team officials around the leaue are saying.

Dipo is not a better player, he has not been the same since his injury, is older, more injury prone and on a shorter contract. Lavert is a better asset man, cmon. You gotta see that.

lmao the value is making the miami team better, that in reality rockets actually need to be worse. Cap space? You mean the cap space that would still be there when dipo walked and was off the books. they got 0 value. it's pretty easy to see

You honestly think Tilman can take a top-4 team to the bottom in two years, then resurrect them in another 2? I think the only possibility of that is if we get extremely lucky in the draft. As in, Ralph or Dream lucky.

The only reason Tilman doesn't have 15+ years of abysmal bottom-dwelling is because he hasn't been at it long enough.

what do u not understand about getting value out of every part of the trade, including the injury prone former allstar that was part of the trade or the ascending young player that went to Indy? And why do you think picks and picks swaps from Brooklyn are some huge guaranteed value? No disrespect but we see things very differently.
