I don't know if I buy this "if he walks this summer, we get nothing!" logic. Trading Oladipo for another $20-30M in bad veteran contracts that don't expire this off-season is adding negative value for the team unless we get at *least* a first round pick out of it. The cap space dipo brings this summer is valuable to a rebuilding team, too. Especially to a cheap sh!it owner like Fertits.
