Its was called Death lineup cuz they had 4 all stars and a previous perennial all star in the East. With that much talent they can run practically any gimmick they wanted.

Oladipo should be interested in New York. Can kickstart his singing career in various off-Broadway musicals.

"Now, we have his Bird rights, which means we are in the driver's seat to either (1) resign him, or (2) sign-and-trade him to a team like Miami which would require Bird rights to obtain him."

I have changed my mind about acquiring a young player for Oladipo. I will gladly settle for a FRP instead of that. A player like Powell will decrease our chances of acquiring a top 4 pick despite it's uncertainty.

And when you have Clint Capela and Draymond Green,

    Always take Draymond Green.

The Death Lineup won rings because it was deployed at strategic moments of the game. Oh, and having 2 of the greatest shooters to ever step foot on the court along with an end-of-prime Iggy and Draymond didn't hurt at all either. Every team could win with small ball if they had that type of talent.

The more young talent with potential the better.
So that excludes players like Kurucs.

Wall will get knee scoped. Reign Porter in if he plays too well.

There are ways to maintain current place in standings......mostly dealing with the facilitator role. Playing Augustin sparingly as well. I'm guessing Mason is just another 10 day contract as we transition to players received in trades.

LOL At the Lakers willing to throw all their players under the bus to get Kyle Lowry.

Still missing the point. He said small ball was a "fad". I'm saying it wasn't when there's been a team to win rings playing that style. And those strategic moments it was deployed were in the 4th quarter, when it mattered most. It didn't matter what lineup the other team had on the court, there was nothing they could throw out there to get the Death Lineup off the court in crunch time.
