I think that’s always been the rule. The Harden dunk that the refs didn’t count last year actually DID go all the way through the net. That’s what was so maddening about it.

Lakers really having a rough time without LeBron and AD. It’s going to suck for the Jazz after such a great year if the Lakers drop to 8 and they have to face them in the first round.

 

James really needs to find his 3 point shot. It's great that he can dominate without it, but it's time to get it back going.

 

Does the ball have to get all the way through the net before the shotclock buzzer though? That would mean that so many shots that are still in the air when the buzzer goes off but were released just beforehand wouldn't count.

Looked to me that the ball was off Deandre's hands juuuuust before the light went on, so it should definitely have counted.

Rulebook says this:

1. A legal field goal or free throw attempt shall be scored when a ball from the playing area enters the basket from above and remains in or passes through the net.

Either RJ was making up stuff about the reason why they didn't count the bucket or the Nets got ripped off.

Yeah the basket originally counted, then RJ said they took it away at halftime because the ball didn't pass through the net completely, not that DJ was still touching it.

not sure if this is the right thread and/or anyone on the thread has seen James Harden play much but he is really really really good. Nets are a lucky team

this might be the worst shooting game ive seen harden have a in a while. i know he had a few off nights with the rockets. But rarely do you see him have the same amount of points as shot attempts

 

If there was no call, and POR strips JH for a 2 on none fastbreak, do they stop at the arc and shoot a three or slam it?
