they have to be regretting not going all out for Harden. Harden and Butler can compete against anyone.

...kinda like I regret that the rockets didn’t include Gordon and go all out for Butler ;)

Hey @Codman good to see you still posting! Stay strong there! Any chance we are looking to trade Patrick Fertitta or Tillman planning to sell the team? Looking for the Silver lining!

Herro's value was at an all-time high during the summer. He has since fallen back down to earth. That's why. Riley should have sold high.

Be that as it may, I’m skeptical that his teammates hate John Wall. Hell, most of them are probably just collecting a paycheck at this point of the season.

That Woj guy... he was so awesome before he joined ESPN. Now he's another Stephen A Smith... can't hate a guy for trying to make a living but man he's slow on the news these days...

My thoughts and prayers go out to those Rockets fans here just a few weeks ago insisting we should hold on to Oladipo and his bird right because this is the key for the Rockets to rebuild.

No one is going to cough up a first rounder for Victor. I would be shocked...

I loved that line... however it could also be PR speak, using WOJ to create the appearance of demand because that's what they actually want and they aren't getting it.

I kinda doubt that WOJ can be "used".

    I may be wrong tho.

I wish Memphis would also be interested in Oladipo since they have poor shooting guards and they would be wiling to give us Clarke since he's going to be stuck behind Valanciunas and Jaren Jackson.

If you prepare to be shocked, will you be shocked? :) To your main point, in trading think about this like fantasy football. If the person you trade with does not like the trade to get what you want, you make the deal bigger. Oladipo may not get a 1st round pick in a small deal, but in a big deal with other teams and more players involved, then the chance really improves for Houston to get a first round pick.

Woj can be used by LeBron, LAL, NYK, etc but probably not by us

Maybe I missed it but I don't recall anyone reasonably suggesting dipo was a max player that we should hold on to

Yup that Woj report is basically what our @ch44 already said. Still, nice to have it corroborated.
