I know there is a lot of Oladipo hate right now, but I think a Trae/Oladipo backcourt could be a legitimate 2nd Round threat in combination with their frontline talent. Oladipo seems to be on the path to recovery. It's been a bumpy road, but it's not a huge stretch to think that he can get back to being a 2-way all-star SG with another offseason of work, especially under Nate McMillan. Their big problem IMO is that Trae Young isn't quite as good as everyone wants him to be. Would they shoot over their 1st? (Currently slated as the 18th pick) And an interesting young player that needs minutes?
The beauty of the Hawks is that we can either take Bog, or we could form the deal around Snell's expiring. Lots of options.
Hawks are a good choice. The Hawks management has a lot of pressure to win now and make the playoffs. The Hawks have payroll issues being able to afford to resign Collins so they want to trade players under contract. The Hawks need a veteran and a defensive wing. The Hawks have young players and assets to trade.
Another benefit to a deal with Atlanta is it’s a music Mecca right now. Dipo would definitely consider resigning with Atlanta for the progress of his music career. he can sign high notes/falsettos over screwed and chopped beats

This owner just talks out of his a$$. You already know everything he feeds media is lies. Because if we were really trying to win Prince and Allen would be on the Rockets still today.. they fill our two biggest needs as a team.
