Fast reactions:

Good:
- Defense after the first 6 minutes of the game really picked up the pace. Defensive intensity was good all game outside of the first six minutes of the first quarter and third quarter. Defense was swarming, contesting shots, playing lanes, switching quickly and effectively, and everyone was getting back.

- Bench unit was great. Augustine is a bona fide PG, and DJ Wilson, Martin, etc. really provided a spark.

- Tate had one of his best games of the season. His 3 point shooting has been abysmal most of the season but he was great today.

- Very good on the glass. I can't remember many instances where we gave up extra possessions on the boards.

- Our defensive strategy this game was to defend the perimeter, which was smart. The Raptors top two scorers, Lowry and Vanfleet, are both guys who kill you from the outside. Overplaying them at the three point line was good, even if it led to them getting some easier mid-range shots.

Bad:
- Though he had his moments, something has to be done about John Wall. 30 shots? Are you kidding me? And it's not just the quantity, but the quality too. His shot selection is so bad it's incredible. He dribbles way too much and refuses to pass. House only had 5 shots all game and Brown 10 even though he was on fire. Silas has got to do something about it.

Honestly, that's probably the only bad all game. This is the first game in a long time where the team didn't go on a multi-minute can't score funk. Really good to have the losing streak monkey of your back.

 

Westbrook averaged 31 ppg that year. Wall scored 19 tonight.
