But then you'd need Russians to wrestle the bears. And nobody wants Slavs in adidas around.

Then you get Tucker Carlson to create a mass hysteria about Lions taking our jobs and killing people to win the Republican vote and send the national guard

While I agree with this in principle, how else are we going to create the next Khabib Nurmagomedov?

The sacrifice of having to create a little bit of Dagestan on your land seems worth it.

I know of a pasture next to a river bottom and there are 2 - 3 donkeys grazing with the cattle.

Whatever you do, it’s going to cost you. Time/money.

I favor the goat strategy but there are trade offs as others have said.

This is a great video that shows the temporary fence setup, then the before and after of an overgrown area.

I wasn't familiar with a skid steer so I googled it. It is what I am familiar with here in East Texas as a bobcat. Would have loved to have one when I was first clearing my property. Kind of like a mini dozer. Looks like they would be easy to operate. Really ideal for clearing anything up to small trees. Probably not big enough for pond expansion but handy.

That’s a good price per acre depending on when and where it is.

Man, I’m totally inclined to rent a skid steer and tractor and play around and see if/should I buy one.

min expanding the pond too but that’s a down the road project. I have the east fork San Jacinto river running through the property and the pond could be crystal clear if dig up a bit more.

Who wants to come help me? Plenty of beer

When I bought my land I hired a bulldozer for 5 days. Once I got the bill and started figuring out what all I still wanted to do. I bought a bulldozer. Best big investment I made. I work on my land when i have time.

Fun fact...my brother in law and I had a bunch of old PCs that we were recycling. Rather than take the hard drives to get shredded, we blew them up with tannerite on this property.

A skid steer is next on my big toy wish list. Do you have wheels or tracks?

Maybe a D20 (standard shift with clutch) or D21 (hydroshift).
