imagine all the picks tillmen can get for cade if rox luck out on a #1 pick. all that savings is salivating.
John Wall + #1 pick for the mother of all TEs (which they can endlessly talk about before they let it expire) and a 2031 SRP. Back slapping all around in the frittata household.
Mobley is also a stud, if they're interested in a big to pair with Wood and Cunningham is off the board. Other than highlights this is only the 3rd game I've seen him play this year. I am impressed. I know nothing about the 2 G-Leaguers.
My strategy has been to pick off the last name. If the last name is a typical first name, he could be a star. History of this the past 20 years: 1. L. James 2. C. Anthony 3. D. Wade 4. D. Howard 5. C. Paul 6. P. George 7. K. Leonard (Rockets blew this one) That's why I'm pulling for the Rockets to draft: J. Christopher From FrontOfficeGurus Hard nosed defender with a good motor and good length Physically mature and loves displaying his athleticism, good feel for rising up over defenders in the mid-range, gets to his shot with ease Battling for volume with Martin and Verge but should provide enough film and output to be labeled a premier scorer, non-playmaker
1. Cade 2. Green 3. Mobley 4. Suggs and Kuminga tie for me. Suggs has more potential but I want KPJ to be point guard.
I mean as long as you are as athletic as Luka I dont think athleticism is an issue. A lot of times too much athleticism is actually a curse as seen by John Wall vs James Harden. It gets taken for granted, puts too much stress on the body and becomes a crutch so the player doesnt take the time to hone his skills. As long ss you have the base athleticism necessary to ball at the NBA level I'd rather have the dude be lengthier, stronger and have more wingspan than be more athletic.
Short of getting the number 1 pick and Cade, I am beginning to like the idea of Kuminga at 2, 3, or 4 and then trading up to 10 or 12 (Portland , Milwaukee and Detroit picks?) and selecting either Moody or Bouknight. 1- KPJ 2- Moody or Bouknight 3- Kuminga 4- Aaron Gordon or John Collins (trade) 5- Wood
Rewatched film and highlights, and I’ve completely done a 180. Have to go with Jalen Green. You can’t teach his natural scoring ability. Haven’t seen someone as smooth and someone who makes it look so easy since McGrady.
