So you've got a supremely young talent, who has known mental/ego dramas. And he just breathes life into a franchise flatlining for 5 straight games. Then you go and bench him (and in his fragile state - disrespect him) and just like that he's no longer with the team anymore. Is the injury serious? Can't wait to find out.
Without his history you would never assume that. So don't do it now and keep your brain diarrhea for yourself
Get off my sac, that’s my Opinion. So do me a favor and shut up forever and quit responding to my post.
Nope mofo, you're not stating your opinion, you're just talking bullshit for no reason about a 20 year old. Unless you get some insight from Lucas or Keith Jones or whoever you want, your opinion isn't worth jackshit and stop spreading your stupidity in every thread
He's not good enough at basketball to be babied like that. If simply benching after a bad game is going to make him mentally explode he shouldn't be in the NBA
100%. I don't think there's a reason to think that he exploded mentally. He has played a bunch of games and minutes in a short time. The g-league schedule was packed as hell and as soon as he came back to the rockets, he needed to play a bunch of minutes aswell because everyone was out. It makes sense
That's the thing - he wasn't benched for a bad game. He was benched - after very good games for a 20 year old - just so John Wall could come back in and show the world how abysmal he is as a 'leader'. We're a tanking team. Generation next is exactly who needs to be on the floor, getting the reps up, getting solid experiences so they can understand what's happening on the floor in the future. Abruptly halting that just to trot out John Wall is embarrassing. Throwing a bowl of soup at a coach because his locker was moved shows me all I need to know about the kid's mental state.... it's obviously not a good one. But negative issues arising from him being handed the keys, and then having the keys quickly taken back off him just so a useless vet who doesn't contribute anything positive to the team - could've been seen a mile away. Apparently not to the geniuses in the Rockets FO though. EDIT: This of course is my opinion - he may very well be injured. I just would not be surprised if he isn't.
Pretty detailed for a conspiracy to cover up a mental breakdown. From a guy who agreed to play in the g-league and confirmed he was excited to back up and learn from Wall.
I saw him walk off the court holding his back. Mumbled something about being tired of carrying this tank on his back.
