Oh, I agree. The outrage from someone whose business model as dectibed above that a dude was inappropriate with her is selective outrage because it likely happens a lot.

 

It's Houston, TX. You don't have to be Deshaun Watson to find women willing to do this kind of "work" pretty easily. And the same type of women who do this type of work don't seem to be the kind that are above seeking a payday from a naive young athlete.

My guess is the "activities" alleged probably happened. Whether they were forced or not is quite another thing.

There's a reason why powerful people so often get away with things like this. How long did it take to bring down Harvey Weinstein? Bill Cosby?

There's no reason to believe in some crazy conspiracy theory about the Texans organization hunting down the women Watson used for back alley massages and convincing them to lie on him. The most likely scenario is that Watson did a version of what he's being accused of. There's a reason why he'd go for women like that rather than the official team muscular therapists or the massage therapists at any halfway decent hotel....you can't force them to give you a tug and a rub like you can with some random.
