Media love is way past due for Harden but honestly I’m not even mad. He’s deserved it for years.

The only thing that ever held CP3 back was injuries. If he stayed healthy I believe he woulda won a ring. He is a much better player than Wade. There are no flaws to his game. Every advanced metric agrees with me. He just always gets hurt at the wrong time.

Every team he goes to, no matter what age he is wins 50 plus games.

If CP3 played in the East and Wade played in the West their stories and narratives would be vastly different.

Very untrue. They were on pace to win then he got injured for the first time in his career and missed half the season. Look at him this year without stars. They are doing just fine. Anthony Davis hasn't played in months.

Statistically speaking I can make an argument for him being the best point guard in NBA history.

If he played on teams as stacked as Magic's Lakers, or Curry's Warriors he would even have the Rings to back it up.

What's the point in bringing that up, lol? 22/6 was a guess -- not a prediction that I felt super strong about. Here's the thread, for reference:

    https://bbs.clutchfans.net/threads/who-will-lead-the-nets-in-ppg.309739/

A few weeks in, I also wrote:

And this was all under the assumption that he'd be playing mostly alongside KD and Kyrie -- which hasn't happened. I didn't expect him to average 39 mpg either.

lol how is that very untrue? its a fact Lebron couldnt make playoffs in the west without another star!

what is very untrue is that he "missed half the season..."

he missed only 27 games...(17 consecutive with the injury and later on he took more rest in april when po chances were lost)....prolly because he wasnt used to carrying a team and couldnt just coast like when he was in the east.... he even came back after injury, had a chance to make playoffs and he even turned on the playoffs mode...lolololol

then got beat by phoenix the worst team in nba lolololol

and? even if Kyrie and KD was playing everyone on that team would want Harden to be the only playmaker

In (390) possessions with Harden, Durant, and Irving all on the court together:

    Harden: 16.3 pts/75, 11.7 ast/75
    Durant: 25.4 pts/75, 2.7 ast/75
    Irving: 24.6 pts/75, 4.2 ast/75

In possessions with Harden playing with just Durant or Harden playing with just Irving:

    Harden: 22.3 pts/75, 10.1 ast/75
    Durant: 33.9 pts/75, 3.9 ast/75
    Irving: 28.8 pts/75, 5.1 ast/75

In (749) possessions with Harden playing without either Durant or Irving:

    Harden: 31.3 pts/75, 11.7 ast/75

Wade won a championship with Shaq and Antoine Walker averaging 13 points a game for the series. CP3 couldn't get out of the 2nd round with a prime Blake Griffin, Deandre Jordan, JJ Reddick, Matt Barnes, Jamal Crawford.

He was in an out even before then and we all know Lebron can carry scrubs. No one has carried scrubs better than Lebron. That Cavs team went from 65 wins to like 20. He was a 45 game difference all by himself. Give the man some credit.

I still think they make it if he doesn't miss 17 consecutive igames cuz of njuries. Not mention that team quit on him cuz the Lakers tried to trade the whole team for Anthony Davis. It was a weird year.

Mostly his fault for trying to trade them all, but he's also old. I mean we have all seen Lebron carry some of the worst teams ever.

The lebron today can’t carry a team by himself at the level of years past. Especially now that he’s in the west. I’m not downplaying everything about him. But you still have to put things into perspective if we’re going to be fully honest and look at it from all angles. Funny thing is what are the rockets now? Pretty much the worst team in the league

I don't disagree with that. But the fact that he's playing at such a high level still is amazing. You have to admit last year in the Lakers Rockets series, Lebron was a better player than Harden. Lebron was everywhere. Chasing down Westbrook for ridiculous blocks. Intercepting passes. He may not be able to carry in the regular season but he still might be the best player in the playoffs.

Depends on how you want to look at it. Dwayne Wade had 1 or 2 really good season and caught fire at the right time and won a ring. For the majority of his career he was nowhere close the player CP3 was. If you are looking at players entire career, CP3 is better than Dwayne Wade.

He has accounted for 185 WS compared to Dwayne Wades 120.

What's crazy to me is in all this, is that Harden's usage is like ....the lowest its been in years LOL. Like even in 2014-2015, he had a higher usage.

Time of possession remains the same though.
