Got my 2nd Pfizer today and took off tomorrow in the event it gives me anything more than a sore arm. Smooth sailing with Walgreens. They update their site hourly with available appointments.
I got the first shot of Moderna at the Pearland Rec Center drive thru site today. Pearland city alerts sent an e-mail on Monday to sign up. I'll update if I develop any mutant super powers.
We should be getting some interesting data from Isreal sometime soon, they now have a whopping 60% of their population vaccinated with at least one shot. I see that rate (60%) being a very optimistic max that the US could reach, as long 16 and under (roughly 20% of our population) is uneligible, I'm not sure what the plans are with that.
Recieved 1st Pfizer shot yesterday at Houston Methodist Greenbriar location. I am a 1st responder. It was super quick and easy at this location. Sore arm is all I have so far.
There are several trials underway and Fauci said maybe early'22 for availability to all kids. He said fall'21 for high school and 1st Q'22 for younger.
The night of/day after getting the first Moderna shot, I actually had mild flu symptoms, which is to say I didn't feel great. I never have reactions to flu vaccines. Feel normal today.
Finally!!!! I got scheduled for my first Pfizer shot within 3.5 miles from my home at Memorial Southeast Hospital. Glad I signed up on their hospital website once they opened it up to 50 and above. Harris County and Houston sites don't offer the vaccines anywhere near me even though I live in Harris County.
Got my 1st Pfizer shot at NRG two weeks ago. When's the text for the 2nd shot appointment supposed to go out?
Got the second Pfizer shot Friday. No side effects except for a small headache on Saturday. I'm excited about going back to the gym after over a year in a couple of weeks.
