Since @BimaThug poo'd on my other trade idea HOU - PHI - ORL - DET PHI: Tucker (HOU) + McLemore (HOU) NYK: Oladipo (HOU) + Kurucs (HOU) ORL: Knox (NYK) + Rivers (NYK) + Exum (HOU) + DAL 2021 FRP (via NYK) + POR 2021 FRP (via HOU) + PHI 2021 FRP HOU: Aaron Gordon (ORL) + Bamba (ORL) into $10M TPE + Bradley (PHI) into $3.5M TPE + Korkmaz (PHI) into $10M TPE ~$21M TPE created Then trade House to DET for Josh Jackson Wall - Brown - Jones KPJ - EGo (IR) - Korkmaz - Lamb Jackson - Tate - Nwaba AGawd - Bradley - KMJ Wood - Bamba - Patton Solid foundation to add top 3 pick to the mix. Plus have some 1st round picks and $20M TPE to go hunting for bargains!
Pistons love Josh Jackson, he is a local boy from Detroit and is having a breakout season. This is why I kept advocating for us to trade for him last season, he would be even better in a 5 Out system.
I think this is a massive overpay. I would much rather have 3 1st rounders and Knox. Put tit this way, right now those 3 pucks are 17, 22 and 29. Philly's pick is a game or two way from dropping 4 spots and Embid is down. 17, 22, and 25 could be packaged for a lottery pick. If the Rockets could get their hand on the say the 9th pick, then combine that with MIami's pick now, we're flirting with a top 5 pick. Top 5 is where the real difference makers are found, not to mention if we get lucky with the 2nd or 3rd pick, that Portland pick might be the centerpiece of a trade to move up. Probably not, but my point is AG isn't worth 3 first rounders. Excluding the swaps, Harden got us 4 first rounders. AG wants a trade to Houston and Detroit for a reason, he knows he'll get paid
This article is chockful of great tidbits of info. CF would do well to do more than just peruse it then shoot from the hip.
Genuine curiousity: Are there many cases of teams trading down for pick/s? If, out of the lottery, or out of the top 5? Especially in drafts considered strong? I have no clue - this could happen every year? Curious question
christian wood does not fit our timeline we should trade him for a 2080 first round pick for when cheapman and patrick are dead and buried by their mob adversaries

Houston gets: Aaron Gordon Brooklyn gets: PJ Tucker Orlando gets: Spencer Dinwiddie, Dante Exum, Houston 1st round pick via Westbrook trade @D-rock , bless this trade
Oladipo for Aaron Gordon swap. extends the window to get value in the Harden trade one year. Maybe AG works maybe he doesn’t, best realistic move for flexibility. PJ for KZ Okpala and Maurice Harkless Danuel House and Ben McLemore for Tyrese Maxey With Eric Gordon and Nwaba Probably out for the remainder of the season. Wall/Maxey KPJ/ Harkless Tate/Brown Gordon/ Okpala Wood / KJ Martin
Is there any source behind that trade idea/rumor, or why would one of the worst teams in the league trade Gordon for an expiring contract. I know Oladipo wants to play for the Heat; is that a Heat/Miami thing or does he simply want to be in Florida and wants to play in Orlando too.
There was an article that came out yesterday that said sources believe whatever the Rockets get for Oladipo they want to flip for Gordon. VO is familiar with Orlando and Vuc. I have no idea if he’s open to a reunion but the Magic fans on Twitter pretty much universally want him back. That’s a specific trade where VO doesn’t need to feel out an organization, he knows what they have there and could theoretically work on an extension for the summer prior to a trade once allowed by the Rockets. Fultz/Oladipo/Isaac/Vuc is actually a very balanced team and would likely be in the playoffs next year. Orlando doesn’t seem like a team that wants to tank after 10 years of mediocrity and losing with one playoff series to show for it. Vuc seems content staying in Orlando and it would be a disservice to not improve the fit. Isaac is clearly the better player to AG and they don’t work well together.

To move him to another team that values Bird rights for a big PG that averages 20-6-3. Or Rockets want to add another injured player to their TANK brigade.
