That was a sweet, sweet game to watch! Sammy took over in the 4th quarter and led the team to the must win. Never underestimate the heart of one of the original clutch city members.

    Go Bucks!

We used to laugh at Grandpa when he'd head off and go fishing. But we wouldn't be laughing that evening when he'd come back with some w**** he picked up in town.

Funny, that's what I thought at the time too. Karl should be glad that Cassell didn't listen to him. If he didn't take over during that stretch, Bucks would've lost.

I hope Bucks will go all the way, because I don't think the 76er's have any chance to pull an upset in the Finals.

He got 11 assists, 1 shy of what was asked of him.

The actually # of assists wasn't the point. The point was Karl wanted Cassell to pass the ball more. Karl wanted Cassell to pass first, then pass second, then shoot third. Karl wanted 15 pts and 12 dimes from Cassell. Cassell came away with 33 pts and 11 assists. You don't get 33 pts from a "pass first, shoot second" mentality.

IMHO, had Cassell played PG as the way Karl wanted for this game (I am not talking about for the season, I am talking about this one game), Bucks would've lost. Even if Cassell had 20 assists.

So, I guess the 13-15 FT didn't count as shooting? Was Charlotte hit with 10 technicals or did Cassell just receive freebies at the strips? Cassell had 14 pts in the 4th quarter. He helped the Bucks win the game with his scoring, not his passing (in this game).

I'm not siding with Cassell for his disagreement with Karl's expectations. In most cases, I would always side with the Coach. I also understand why Karl wanted his PG to be a true PG, but he is asking Cassell to be something that he is not and I don't believe will ever be.

I was just making fun with the fact that Cassell did not really do what Karl wanted, yet they won the game because of it. Too bad you guys can't see the humor in it. [IMG]

Too bad Otis Thorpe went down in Cassell's flurry, but Cassell was the man. Two s's and two l's. He's shown once again that he's a winner. The bucks are the only team that can challenge the lakers. I hope they get out of the East. I don't think Mutombo will be a huge factor in their next series. Mutombo will have to move into the 10-15 foot range on defense to have an impact. However, I do think he will impact the offensive boards a lot. The Bucks guards will have to stay back and hit the boards. Especially Allen.
