    Relaying a message from oeilpere:

Vancover and Houston and Chicago are busy today.

Vancover wants #13,#18,& #23 for #6. Houston countered with bid for Dickerson.

Chicago was approached in earnest for their lottery pick. Chicago may deal if both Battier and Curry are gone. Will deal #4 and #30 to Houston for #13,#18,#23 plus a player (Cato??).

No question now that first pick will be Kwame Brown.

    Griffin stock falling.

White high up in the lottery.

    Gasol and Steve Hunter rising.

Utah asking about #18 and #23.

High Level rumor Clips will take Tyson Chandler and Boston will keep #10 & #11 due to predicted push from #5 to #12 by some unheralded entries.

    Diop getting big talk.

Mavericks have something going, looks like a player trade with a pick being made for them in mid.

Gary Payton is BIG news. Seattle has hot phones. Reporter from AP mentioned MJ's boys and Seattle boys in deep huddle all day.

Vancouver wants to end up with 4 first rounders. Do it! And get Dickerson while you're at it, so we can put Mobley back on the bench. [IMG]

Thanks for the latest...fascinating stuff. Lots of unpredictable permutations that could unfold. The deal with Chicago to get #4 pick and unload Cato at same time sounds too good to be true!! [IMG]

I like the Chicago deal better. #4 and #30 for all our picks plus Cato. I'd do it in a heartbeat.

We asked for #6 and Dickerson? Why would they do that if they wouldn't do it for 2 picks. Surely Dickerson is better than anyone at #23. They've got something up their sleeve if they are that set on acquiring 4 picks.

The Chicago trade is way better and Krause must be on crack if he does this deal.

I don't see the Chicago deal happening. It seems to be based on Battier and Curry being gone by then and I just don't see that happening.

As for the deal for #6, I say do it. I think it's a good deal for us. I don't see why they would throw Dickerson into the deal, but if they do...I'll be dancing in the streets!

Why would we want Dickerson? If Shandon and Mobley can't coexist, why should Dickerson and Mobley be able to?

Dickerson's pretty athletic... could he play the 3?

If Curry and Battier are gone by the 4th pick, that would mean that Atl/Van didn't take Gasol at #3. Do you think they will really pass on him after rumors for the trade were to get him at #3.

There is really no chance that Battier and Curry are 2 of the top 3 picks, is there? That would mean that Chandler isn't one of the top 3 picks, given that Brown is definately #1.

Does anyone think this will happen, the Chicago trade of 4 and 30 to Houston?

If Dickerson at 3, why not just Jason Richardson? He's more athletic and probably has a bigger upside.

They were actually generous to him and his "official" height is 6'4". I have doubts of a Francis-Mobley-Dickerson backcourt.

No way we want Dickerson at the 3? He'd be eaten alive on a nightly basis. Hell, I don't want Dickerson back. We need big, defensive players not small shooting guards.

I'm not buying this Dickerson rumor.

Maybe Dickerson is the backup 2 guard. Who cares though? Quit looking at the steamed vegetables. The 6 is the meat.

we are getting Diop at the 6th with Dickerson, and we will run a 3 guard line-up with no SF.

    heyp wins!

heyrevisionist, if a new player is slated to play the 3 before Langhi, you lose. Acquiring a new 3 is apparently more important in this situation than pulling in a new point.
