I'm optimistic about moving Eric...not so much on Wall especially with the news that he's getting his knee looked at again. I'm not sick (enough) to wish ill on any player but there would be a definite silver lining if Wall requires surgery on his knee and Tilman is going to pay him to sit out for an entire year to rehab. Wood/Gordon/Porter would get plenty of burn time together on the court next year.

Seems like a no brainer until you realize Donte is a RFA after next season. Is he worth $12M per year? That’s likely what he’s going to get on the market.

 

He's an asset my man. You could easily flip the guy if he becomes more valuable next season.

 

Talked about a deal like this in the random trade thread. Tucker for DD is a steal. Expand the deal with House and/or Mclemore and get Wilson. Stone, us Rockets fans are waiting to exhale. Not asking for a big splash, but GD Stone get in the water.

If we get Donte for PJ, I'd be pretty damn happy about that. Imagine, adding another asset to next years team. At this point, I see nothing but assets and I want as many as possible. Players expiring does nothing for the Rockets now in the near future. Keep racking up deals with players that will be an expiring after next season.

He may be best young asset we can squeeze for PJ. He's improved his 3pt FG% this year, although he's not a very good finisher, we definitely could use spot up shooters. In any case, he is a young asset we can may develop and use to obtain another piece if he doesn't fit.

Donte is a young, extremely athletic starting quality guard. Good to great defender and evolving shooter.
You get that done immediately.
