This Sword of Damocles has gotten old. This past month I watched more KPJ G league games than I have Rockets. Last night was just a rerun of he past 15 games. How many times can you watch The Titanic?

From day one we have identified the players that need to go. Because of injury, Gordon or contract, Wall it looks like both will be here till at least the off season. So any combo, hopefully all, of VO, Tucker, House, & McLemore have been available. What do they net us in return? From day one, my expectations have been low. Addition by subtraction. But the key would be to indenify a player that is being misused or for whatever reason not getting minutes on another club. Two guys I kept beating the drum on were Williams, BOS and Bradley, PHL. Both were buried on their teams bench. But as time passes, their opportunities came. Williams looked pretty good last night. With Embiid injured Bradley is getting bigger minutes.

Was never looking for the home run. Getting a player like Wood was never the expectation. But the Williams and Bradley's of the league were just sitting there. Think the ship has sailed on those two.

Other CFs have identified other hidden/misused gems. Bamba ORL, Paul Reed PHL ( good eye D-rock ) or a DJ Wilson, KZ Okpala, Alize Johnson, Xavier Tillman would be a great/good start. Guys that need a change of scenery like Knox, Winslow, or whoever.

We as fans can play mix and match to our heart's content. On CF, VO gets us Gordon or Collins. That shouldn't be Stone's objective. Make your rep over time. It is not necessary to make a big splash. That will come with more asset acquisitions. No need for the splash, but dude get in the water.
