Don't know but it looks like Silas wont be playing young guys as a priority. KPJ should be getting starters minutes but might not even break 15.
Yes I watched the video. Basically Silas won't be playing the new players. Good thing at least is someone is telling him to watch the g-league guys. Hopefully Stone will step in and force Silas to give them some time but it doesn't look hopeful. We will be playing guys who's contract we aren't renewing or most likely trading instead. At least Wood will be back in a week or so.
Stone better be ready to step right in and correct Silas if he's not handling KPJ as he may want him handled. Silas was brought in here for that reason - he would kowtow and walk the line. If Stone see's KPJ as the future then he better be ready to follow through and make sure he's treated as such. If the Fertittas love KPJ then its a wrap.
You mean as Clutchfans wants him handled? Why assume that Stone and Silas don't communicate and aren't on the same page?
How many times has Silas come out and said he didn't know what was happening with his players? Sounds like great communication to me.
Things will change after the trade deadline. Right now he's got to give minutes to dipo, mclemore, etc.
At this point I don't care what we get in return for guys like Dipo, EG and Tucker. I just want them gone before the trade deadline to clear up playing time for the young guys that are part of the team's long term future. And I like EG and Tucker. They were important pieces to the Rockets last 3 year contender run.
I’m seeing too many red flags with Silas. Him not knowing what’s going on with his players, not recognizing players strengths and weaknesses like having Mclemore dribble so much trying to make plays, now this. Stone shouldn’t have to urge him to watch the newest addition to the team who will be one of the foundation players. I want to give him a chance but I’m losing faith.
To show everyone how bad they have become? They did that with Gordon and now they probably can't trade him this season if his injury is bad enough. Not sure what the update on him is though yet. I assure you teams have seen video on Oladipo and Ben. Trying not to get them injured is top priority. It's hard to trade an injured player with only one year left on their deal.
hey I’m all for shutting all 3 down at this point: Ben Mac, Vic and PJ. Gotta get something for those guys. And the way Vic is playing he’s actually tanking his value so he’s better off in street clothes. Waiting a year to to trade Gordon and Wall Is probably smart; we’ll get more of a return with less yrs on their contracts and both have played at a high level -I don’t see either falling off next yr.
