its not that he’s trash. And it’s unfortunate it has to seem so negative.

he’s a great player. It’s just his one limitation is the EXACT worst limitation to have in the modern nba.

and more to the announcers point... Tobias is playing amazing.

Ok he's not trash, his shot is trash. Yet ppl here seem to think we should've traded Harden for him. Embiid is out for 2 weeks now. So we'll see exactly how valuable Simmons is (getting popcorn ready)

I dunno what Simmons can be flipped for do you?
If his value is so high why didnt Morey flip him pre emptively and told the Rox the haul they were getting if they traded Harden to the Sixers? Thats what the Nets did but somehow Rox are at fault for choosing the team who made a more concrete offer.

No team will give you 4 unprotected swaps and 3 unprotected picks for him thats for sure. Dipo is loke 30% of the Nets offer, Simmons would be like 80% of Philly offer so your comparison isnt correct.

Yeah this is the time for him to prove if he really is worth his super max deal or not. Steph did the same and succeeded, whereas Dipo failed. Simmons has a trade kicker on top so really his salary will be super super max if he does get traded.

We dont know what the offer woulda been but I highly doubt it would be more than 1-2 picks in addition to young players like Maxey. Maxey and Sixers rookies are overrated AF and those picks woulda been garbage with protections for sure. Simmons would make up 70-80% of the real value of any Philly offer. So yeah Nets offer is indeed better unless Morey gonna give up like 3 unprotected picks and swaps in addition to everything else.

IMO Dipo as both a borderline all star and an expiring 22M contract is worth the protected pick+overrated rookies of Sixers. And then Simmons by himself is def not worth the unprotected picks and swaps the Nets gave up.

Just looked it up Maxey is 6'2 guard shooting 26% from 3, Thybulle is 24 yr old 6'5 guard shooting 29% from 3. They total garbage if you add Simmons on top Rox would be getting 3 broke shot players+garbage first rounders.

Stop talking about the Philly offer like its great smh. If we got the Philly offer you jokers would turn and say Stone is dumb af just got played by Morey.

It doesn't matter. Had we traded James for Ben. Simmons doesn't make us contenders like Harden did. It's better to rebuild through the draft. Simmons would have been Westbrook 2.0

He is still an expiring worth 22M even if he walks away from nothing he is better than 2 rooks who cant shoot and a low FRP.

Simmons isnt gonna net you unprotected 4 frp and 4 swaps so it doesnt matter what he can be flipped for.

Tell me how 2 broke shot undersized guards are gonna turn the offer around. They putting up Rodion Kurucs stats at least Rodions is taller and can play PF and smallball C.

No, it's not like that at all. Why even take on that headache? So his value can plummet like Westbrook? You are thinking too short term. This is not NBA2k. If people like Simmons so much why didn't they trade for him? Apparently he was available, I doubt not just for Harden, most likely for the right price. There were rumblings before Harden made it known or before Morey got there. How do you expect to get equal value for Simmons, who can't shoot mind you, on a Rockets team with out Embiid? Thank god you are not the GM.

Kurucs is the same Thybulle and Maxey man. They all garbage. Kurucs is worth more than Thybulle and Maxey cuz at least he is 6'9. If this isnt CF, aka no 1 community that hates their own, nobody would be trumping up Thybulle and Maxey they total scrubs.

The way people were talking and pining for Thybulle and Maxey I thought they were ROY contenders got the shock of my life when I looked at their stats. Talk about 6'2 guard shooting 25% from 3 like he is a game changer get outta here. Thybulle 6'5 24 yr old shooting 29% from 3 wtf. No wonder Sixers suck ass when Embiid not playing his teammates are garbage.
