He's fine. Hard to judge anyone based on the injuries and scenarios we've seen. I think he and Stone get 2 more seasons for us to really see what we have.
So coaching doesnt matter? At all? Even WITH Harden, Rockets offense was ass. Its now the worst offense in NBA. Before losing streak it was just bottom 5.
You're taking this season too seriously. Nothing has gone right. There's no single cause of the problems. Just enjoy the tank and we'll see if Silas is any good once he has more than 10 rotation level guys available for 5 games in a row.
In regards to the awful losing streak, yes, yes I do. I’m not mad about losing, but the games are not even close. I get that he has player in and out of th line up, but his system has sucked thus far.
I think its situational. In our case, another coach, the best fit possible, might earn us a .400 -.450 winning % instead of the current .314. But what is really gained by that? Definitely no lotto pick. Maybe good enough that they keep most of the team intact. Might that be a worse outcome? But there are cases where coaching really helps the team. Think Rudy and 90's Rockets. That kind of fit doesn't happen often. Expecting that from Silas in his first year is pretty unrealistic. Not to mention this team isn't the 90's Rockets either.
