if you get unlucky health wise you can get another high pick .. if not you can try to make the playoffs (and you have some assets from trades)

Will Tilman do something with Dante Exum ? It should be easy to take on a mid salary next year because we have most of hardens salary gone as expiring . How much of that can we keep and gain assets for ?

Ain't no keeping Olabricko. Last year of his contract, he's playing like ****, AND (had the nerve? the blessing?) turned down our contract extension.

Luckily, he still has trade value because that's 21 million off the books once the season is over. Teams looking to clear cap space need expiring contracts.

 

And jeopardize our chance at keeping the top 4 pick? NEVER!!!!

What exactly pisses you off?? NBA GMs almost always wait until the deadline to make deals. Nobody was going to trade anything for EG a month ago. Other GMs know his history just like we do. He was probably always going to remain on this roster until this upcoming off-season. This way, he stays off the court and doesn't hurt our tank.
