Understand being patient trying to get the best deal by holding out and we have asked for a lot for our players. But it really backfired as what is a really deep draft where picks are important to acquire talent and throw some darts to hope to hit. But now waiting has hurt every single players trade value. Wall injured, which doubt moved anyway. But Gordon, having a really good season you played him and his brittle ass hurt again. Now no contender can use him as imagine going be out to long a time. Oladipo been horrible, not a good shooter. He is nowhere near elite, and seems every game he plays he gets worse. Tucker, who has been rumored forever to be a trade candidate has not gave a **** and played horrible, and now walked away. Our leverage on both Oladipo and Tucker has faded away further and further. House is hurt. Nwaba is hurt. How many times have we been at just 8 players this year. In a season of Covid, we have to get more players somewhere. We are losing so badly as we have a different lineup all the time, someone out or can't play back to back. To be honest we have hit rock bottom and this sucks. Tired of players getting paid and can't play a back to back. Screw being cautious, are we supposed have this kid glove handling of Wall for more years. Oladipo, you want to give all this money but can't play back to back. Gordon is getting older and injury prone which gets worse as get older. And I understand Cousins and doing right by guaranteeing contract, but no one wants him now. He still hasn't signed, Is it that bad he is not playing at all. We could have used the body right now. I thought out of the break everyone was going to be healthy, but hell no. Same old crap!!!!!!!!!!! Wood can practice, but can't play cause conditioning? Really you couldn't play him on a minutes restriction so he could start getting in shape. How is he in basketball shape all of sudden next week. Is this part of act like not tanking, but really tanking. Please, we need a Gordon replacement, please what the F.....sign Brooks now please. If you would have signed him earlier, he could have played tonight. Even if wanted him now, got to go through the Intake Protocol first. Do they not think of this. You expect play team with best record on there court tonight, with altitude issues as well, with a reduced bench of 8, and not to mention Porter got banged up last night, and going to have to play with a Hyperextended knee. Hope didn't swell up. At this point, don't care all G-Leaguers, lets see who is worth hanging on to. And since have no players, and now trade value sucks of the ones considering, we have put ourselves in a really bad spot. You can forget Sterling Brown being traded, we need healthy bodies. Are we expecting teams to panic and get desperate for our guys? I want to see more Lamb tonight, this small ball is killing us with no rim protection. We have to play KJ at center. I want Tate, KJ and Lamb getting all of PJ minutes. Patton is not a good player, looks like got lead in his ass. I expected more from him as he won't get many more opportunities. Can House not give us anything tonight, his his banging knees that bad be out this long. I think some of these guys just don't want to play since team has been bad. And how long does it take on Nwaba, either your injury requires surgery or not, what good is it playing with it and trying. Appreciate the effort, but we need to move on. Also his injury puzzling, yesterday saw a strain, but earlier saw a fracture report. Which is it. Also don't want to hear about Morey anymore, Gordon extension who was always injured prone, because never maintained young talent, had to overpay to contend and paid to keep Gordon. F him as well, tired of the entitlement. Morey, Harden, Cousins, and now Tucker taking their ball in going home when things go bad. Tired of Silas saying how professional everyone is, bullshit, if your professional honor your damn contract. It is a privilege to play in this league. I don't care if things look bleak, we don't owe Tucker **** to be honest. He was paid, his agent and him agreed to his money. He shouldn't expect the Rockets just give him away just so he can be happy somewhere else a week or 2 earlier. This team has had more drama then deserved, I really feel sorry for an inexperienced coach that has had to put up with drama since day one constantly. I'm sure wearing on him. Rockets just have not been proactive enough. Now they have hurt themselves. Tell Oladipo brittle ass to go home now as well. He could get hurt anytime now and were stuck with him. Get rid of all them vets, salary cap and draft capital at this point is what we need. This is considered a deep draft, we need picks and its a success even if you swing and miss, we just need to hit half. My 2 cents as very upset and needed to vent. Tucker ass should been gone right after Harden. I need the Cougars to go on a run please in the tourney, I need something with the screwed up Texans and Watson situation and losing all your best players, the Astros cheating scandal, losing Springer, Verlander, Whitley, and Framber. Rockets losing Westbrook and Harden, Morey -D'Antoni, all the injuries....look at the names left this city we lost Cole, Verlander, Springer, Watt, Hopkins, Watson next, Harden, Westbrook, Cousins, and Tucker. As fans, how much abuse are we suppossed to keep enduring. Not to mention the dumbass Cal Mcnair/Easterby. All the stuff about Tilman...at least I feel Astros managment is good. GOD HELP US!

Why would you post such a long post without paragraphs? Not even trying to be rude, but 90% of people aren't going to read that.

read about a 3rd of it and then had to stop...I’m sorry, but use some paragraphs

also, Idk why people are acting like most of these dudes must get dealt by this deadline...the only ones who need to be moved for sure are Dipo and Tucker...the rest can wait

I’m not gonna be crying if the likes of EG, Nwaba, House, etc aren’t moved

If it's good therapy, maybe re-reading it works, too.

and you could place some paragraphs and repost, while you're at it. :)

If Porter Jr turns out to be a Holy Phenom, I'll be ok that Olabricko was the only name they received on the initial trade.

Yeah, like everyone else, I'm not going to read that. Also, like everyone else (and I'm assuming OP, too), I hate the Dipo swap for Lavert even more now than I did when it was initially made, and I'm waiting on pins and needles for some deals to get done. But let's take a breather and not freak out.

I do agree with most that Dipo and Tucker need to be dealt before the deadline, ideally, unless Stone thinks he can capitalize on a sign and trade with Oladipo in the offseason after Dipo's had more time to build up his value. But I'll say this about Gordon and Wall—because of their contracts, you were probably never going to get much for them. And because they're constantly getting hurt, them sitting on the bench and cashing paychecks doesn't hurt you if you're trying to tank. Waiting to move on from them likely helps you in a rebuild more than it hurts you.

Down the line, Houston will likely get more for guys like Gordon and Wall than they would get today. At some point, both guys will cross that threshold of being seen as negative assets to possibly being positive ones. Gordon's probably close to that point, but it's going to be a minute for Wall and might not happen until he's an expiring contract in a year and a half. Don't force both guys out if you're not going to get anything for them or you're going to have to attach assets for them.

i hear you OP i've been pushing the need to get rid of EG ASAP before he gets hurt. looks like we ran out of time. this was inevitable. and it's super hard to swallow. now we'll have to wait another year. But i don't think anyone saw Vic's total collapse coming. For me Vic was also a barrowed time injury concern. I still hope the rockets get some assets for our expirings at the deadline. And i think if not, we should judge the front office pretty harshly.
