    I feel for the guy, but not everybody is a 1980's/1990's basketball fan. I'm guessing a lot of people working security at places may have no idea who a lot of famous players are especially if they're younger. I don't follow baseball much anymore, except a few Astros stories here and there, so I couldn't tell you who some of the best players on the Astros from the past decade or so were if I saw them. I mean, I may know their names, but to associate their face to the name? Not a chance. Security is just doing their job.

    i mean... he spent an entire career being humiliated by dream and jordan for the ny fans' entertainment. they should appreciate him more.

    The Knicks fans overrate their players
    Only they are arrogant to believe that a non champion will be remembered forever

    kids growing up only know the Knicks have many many losing seasons and that the 94 team lost in the finals

    Well. On one hand I get that u have to respect the greats and what not, but its better to b safe than sorry, u don't want to b the fool that got accused of thinkin all black people look alike.

    Someone that is 7'0" and wearing basketball sweats.... in Madison Square Garden? There is a good chance they are supposed to be there.... It is weird seeing Ewing as an old man though.

    As a security guard, I was yelled at simultaneously for 1) not checking the general manager's ID and 2) not recognizing the general manager. He was an ******e.

    normally i would agree that the 'do you know who i am card' is weak, but Ewing is a very unique looking individual. Plus, it sounds like it's happened a lot, not just a one off scenario
