There's a reason teams lose like this, though... they suck. And if they suck like this, I'm not sure you're going to get progress. If they sucked because of injuries, then the injuries have to stop to see any progress, but that hasn't been happening. I don't think you get my point. We won't know the quality of the trade until we see what quality type players we get from the draft picks. The trade's key return were the picks, not Victor ****ing Olidipo. Therefore we won't know the quality of the traded until we see the players we get from the draft picks we got for Harden.
Harden makes everyone better. Wood is a nice 20 point guy. Wall not playing selfish. This team was better than last year.

Dude, predicting anything for this team 10 years out from now is stupid. We could have a core set in 3 years if we win the jackpot this off-season. Too much uncertainty. You honestly expected a return for Harden that had a current superstar? That's not how these trades for mega stars work. It's always draft assets. We always knew trading Harden would net a lot of first round picks. That's were the value of the trade is. Again, we won't know if the trade was a failure or a success until we see what we get for those picks.

I'm hoping it was just media bait to show Stone has "confidence" in Dipo rather than actually genuinely offering a deal. Dipo would be a complete dumbass not to take that deal if it was actually offered to him. He ain't getting that much from another team. Hence why I think there was no actual offer. At least I hope or else I would have to agree with you.
I don't think I've ever seen a team go from semi-competitive to absolute clown show in such rapid succession. An absolute nosedive to the lowest depths of incompetence. Lack of size on this roster is a GLARING weakness, the opposing team gallops to the rim with ease & snatches 2nd chance pts over our vertically challenged roster like snatching candy from a toddler.
When have you known the Rockets' FO for getting steals in trades? They usually ship farms for decent returns at best.
