Many of his movies are great.

He is a child molester that married his adopted daughter...

He and Roman Polanski are terrible people... at least Roman kept it out of the family.

Oh no, I'm not talking about the daughter he married, I'm talking about the toddler daughter he molested.

He has 2 or 4 good movies (hell, if you make 50 a couple are bound to be good, right?), but he has always, always been annoying and creepy.

He has at least 8 all time great movies... yeah he is creepy and yes I think he raped his infant daughter and got away with it... it is funny seeing all these actors trying to say they didn’t know, this is nothing new.... that doesn’t even get into his adopted daughter and his wife catching him with naked photos of her as a minor.

Creepy guy, but an excellent director... not always easy to separate the art from the artist.

Not really, no...rape, child molestation, murder, etc...not a difficult line to draw.

I really hate to be the guy to defend Woody Allen’s personal life, but there is no evidence that he did anything to the child. I have read everything on this, and I don’t think he did it. The circumstances in which Mia said things happened did not seem realistic. It was investigated competently and debated in court and dismissed. Yes, is a weird dude, but if he hadn’t married his ex-girlfriends adopted daughter (who was in her early twenties when they began a relationship), which is weird but not exactly evil, I don’t think so many people would assume he is guilty of the molestation charges.

What he did or didn’t do doesn’t change the quality of his work.

As far as his movies, they never make any money, so they’re clearly not everyone’s cup of tea, but there is no doubt that he has been a massive influence on dramatic comedy. It goes largely unnoticed, again most people don’t watch his films outside of the hits, but the influence is huge.

None of this is true. It's ok.

I watched Midnight in Paris a few months ago and thought it was wonderful. He's no different than Bill Cosby or Michael Jackson or a [pick one] Catholic Priest to me, others may feel otherwise.

Yeah, Woody's characters are mainly so paradox and it is easy to root for their failure. They learn virtually nothing in the end. Highly amusing.

I admit that I believe that he did something he shouldn't have done.... the claim from the nanny is disgusting.

As for Michael Jackson, one of the most influential and best artists in music ever.... not easy to do, but I try to separate the art from the artist.
