What if we went after Kyrie instead of CP3 in 2017?

After seeing how Harden/Kyrie function on the Nets, how do you think it would've played out if we acquired Kyrie back in 2017 instead of CP3? Do you think Harden and Kyrie would've resolved their role issues back then as quickly as they did presently, or would have they done it at all? How would Kyrie have worked with our roster back then? What would have been the tradeoff and the gain from getting Kyrie's contributions in place of CP3?

Chris Paul had top 5 player impact his 1st year here...that helped us win 65 games and take GS to 7

Kyrie Irving missed the entire 2018 playoffs, and he was nowhere close to 17-18 CP3 the following season...he also wanted to go home to the NY area

Harden, CP3 and Capela went 50-5 and were a hamstring away from beating the KD Curry Klay Warriors.

Harden and Paul went for 65 wins and Scott foster and Chris Paul hamstring short of being world champions

CP3 just has that special mental edge that increases the bball iq of the entire team.

If he didn't get injuried so often in the playoffs I think he would have multiple rings by now.

I don't think the team with Kyrie would've performed as well as how it did with CP3
