Jonathan Feigan: Rockets view John Wall as their starting PG for least few more years

I read this as: "Rockets view the next few years as a ticket to the lottery." John Wall is synonymous with your team going nowhere but down.

If they are not trading him then the last thing they'd like is for him to think he's on the trading block.

More than 10 years ago, posters like Maxrider and tinman coveted John Wall and wanted to attain him even over Derrick Rose. He was a true facilitator in college and needs to relearn the habit?

FWIW, Wizards also claimed that John Wall would be their PG moving forward and then traded him for Russ. If Wall stays in Houston, which I consider likely, it’ll be due to his contract.
