Harden loves KPJ. KPJ was traded to Rockets because of rep of Rockets coaches like Lucas and even Silas. JBB andd even Altman were trying to help the kid.

Yeah but would we have still traded for him if harden was here without none of the distraction. We never got younger when harden was here. We didn’t make trades like this in previous years. We never traded for youth and potential, always for experience and proven. Put it this way, would we have made this same trade last season(when harden wasn’t mad or discontent)
I say yes. Because of the relationship between Harden and Porter AND more importantly the relationship between JBB and Lucas. Now, would Morey do it, that's trickier. But one of Morey's most underrated strengths is the ability to see talent at the guard position. Aaron Brooks Kyle Lowry Goran Dragic James Harden Patrick Beverley De'Anthony Melton Morey even took chances on Shaun Livingston, Ish Smith, Jeremy Lin, Garrett Temple, etc.
Without the Harden, Taurean Prince isn't traded to Cleveland and then KPJ doesn't go mental over a locker and is probably not in Houston.
Porter was in exile the whole beginning of the Cavs season, Porter was already traumatized by being away from basketball and the team. Porter was ready to snap when he returned, he was very angry and frustrated by how he felt he was being ostracized and punished. The Prince thing was simply a reason to act out. Porter would have exploded even if Prince wasn't traded to Cleveland. The locker issue was just convenient. But he would have found another thing to trigger him.
When we were contending with Harden you were not happy. When we greatly suck and get excited for prospects you are not happy. What's the deal?
So can we send Mason Jones down (for his two way) so he can win the g league chip with KPJ? ....bring some good vibes back with them to the rockets
I liked Queen's game in the preseason , hated that he didn't make the club. If he can up that 3 point percentage , he's an NBA player .... prototypical 3D wing. Gonna hate to see him end up somewhere else.
Trade was a perfect storm. The cavs were playing really well in the beginning of the season and their starting backcourt duo along with okoro looked to be the future and winning this season. I think the teams play at that time helped push the cavs to trade KPJ who played better than Garland last year and has been claimed their most talented prospect by guys on that team.

Wrong person.... You've never seen one post of me saying " Rockets will never win a chip with Harden".... I just didnt like the mfer.... My deal is we give Gleaguers too much hype ... Let them play in a meaningful couple of games 1st before there's a 100 page thread... He's talented But didn't play much for a crappy team , got traded to an even more crappier team, and haven't seen him in a Rockets uni yet... So until then, he's an unknown ...
