Literally any deal that cleans up our cap space is a good deal. No picks or assets needed.

Bro, you want to keep paying Wall $40M+ or you rather pay Austin $3M+ lol.

    1) Rid themselves of Gary Harris.
    2) If they are going all in then Iggy provides a wind defender and Olynyk depth.
    3) Nnaji and Hampton arent ready this season and probably arent going to be heavily involved in the Nuggets future

Basically I concocted a trade getting Wall to Miami and then tried to figure out what to do with Iggy and Olynyk since the Rockets wouldnt want them. Denver seemed like a good partner for Iggy at least and Harris is a contract that Denver wants out of allegedly.

“The consensus of TrueHoop sources is that the eight games between the All-Star break and the trade deadline will mean a lot in assessing how good the Heat are,” Haberstroh wrote. “They play the Magic twice, Bulls, Cavs, Grizzlies, Pacers twice, and Suns.

“If the Heat decide to make a deal, rival executives wonder if a package centered on Tyler Herro, Duncan Robinson, and Rising Star rookie Precious Achiuwa could net another star. Heat brass have shrewdly signed Kelly Olynyk and Meyers Leonard to mid-tier contracts ($12.6 and $9.4 million respectively). Those are big enough that the Heat can likely satisfy the league’s salary-matching rules should they bring in a high-salaried star.

“John Wall and Kyle Lowry are potential targets.”

Wall and Butler would be a dangerous duo.

Wall to Miami would be RUFFELLES Trojan horse to ensure if we don’t keep our pick, Miami’s pick would be much better with our current Tank Commander.

The Heat are a Two-way PG from being a title favorite. I'd put them over the Nets if they got Wall. Wall/Butler/Bam would clamp the Nets Big 3. If they got Oladipo too, it would be a wrap.

Wall will demand a trade once he finds out Butler is from the mean streets of Tomball.

The thread title got my spirits highers the the top 4 or nothing thread
If we can pull off a trade like the Thunder did with the suns for cp3 this season would have been a success.

the owners need to do something about these max. Washington stupidly gave walls. Supermax contract after the Achilles injury while he was recovering.

Supermax is for more than franchise players . Only the best of the best should get it. Like you shouldn’t be able to get a supermax unless
    • you win an mvp or been in The top 3 voting the last 3 seasons
    • Been on the all nba teams 4 straight seasons
    • Your team has been to the playoffs 75% of the time you been then
    • And you been available to play 8^ of the games possible

If the Rockets get rid of Wall without attaching a pick this tank is going to be so much more fun

I agree with you all. If the Heat got John Wall, they would be a dynasty and unstoppable and would crush the Nets.

They should throw Herro in the deal.

The Heat are a smart franchise. They have the likes of Dragic and other developing talent at the position. How is this even a suggestion?

“Potential” targets. We talkin ‘bout “potential”.

Pretty much any player in the league could be a “potential” target.

This sounds like people just throwing out names.

Desperation. They are nowhere near the level of the Nets.
