UNDERHANDED FREE THROWS FROM RICK BARRYS KID!!!! what am I watching and why am I having so much fun???
KPJ getting rattled. He was pulled after a lazy pass. His energy seemed to suffer and now a missed layup and a technical. Hes frustrated.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but it looks like the Vipers are a half game out of playoff contention, and they play one of the teams immediately in front of them (Ignite), meaning they control their playoff destiny.
You are correct sir. Half game from the 8 seed. They have two games remaining. Thurs vs the Ignite currently the 7 seed. Friday vs Santa Cruz currently the 1 seed. G league season wraps up on Friday. The Vipers will probably have to wait till then to see how it plays out. Hopefully they get back KMJ from injury. The longer KPJ stays down there the better. Best he comes up after the Rockets make a trade or two.
Hopefully the team signs Armoni after a trade is made. He’s an upgrade over McClemore not only on defense and rebounding, but he is a more consistent shooter.
If they win next game vs Ignite will be huge, getting tie breaker from head to head. Control their own destiny now, win last 2 and they're in.
Remember the difference between a freshman and a junior is massive from a prospect perspective. Cunningham is the better prospect for a multitude of reasons.... age, body and attitude all stand out. Porter has a lot of god given talent, and is the rare non-high lottery pick with high end talent, but the risk perspective is also very high. Cleveland didn’t get rid of him for throwing food... it was just what broke the camel’s back. They were constantly dealing with his instability and terrible attitude.
Loving the progress. Don't ruin it by bringing him up to a squad that doesn't have solid chemistry or a real game plan.
I admit I want to give him some minutes, but I believe you're right. The team doesn't have a real game plan which in turn leads to poor chemistry. Silas is looking like the rookie coach he is. I know he is handicapped, but he is unable to motivate the guys to play the right way. That's on the players and him.
