We need to stop talking about Cp3 "maximizing his strengths." The fact is....Cp3 wasnt good last year. This was not about the offense. Cp3 was just bad that year. He just was. I dont know what we didnt do that didnt maximize what he was doing, we were on offense built around maximizing our two best players. Cp3 was fine the year prior. The major blame lies with the owner who didnt let Daryl work. And also Harden for pushing this stupid trade through.
What ball movement man? OKC didnt have that much ball movement last year. They isod a lot too. He attacks people off the dribble better now than he did two years ago. I dont understand what changes he wanted to be made, it makes no sense. He doesnt play any differently now than he does in Houston.
How did CP3 not make all star in 2018? He was better than either of past 2 years and....oh yeah, Rockets were the best team.
But just to clarify, we absolutely should have traded for Simmons, either flipping him or keeping him. The Harden trade was trash.
He should have but the initial number of games he missed was the reason. Criteria gets picked and chosen every year. You know how it goes
Yeah he is, I agree. But we know how politics go when it comes to things likes this especially in the bright lights of LA. And he’s going to get replaced anyway. Can you imagine how much whining you’d hear about AD no all star. And I’m just referring to lebron alone and not the rest lol
Also "played for the Rockets" a system team whose system was...having the greatest offensive player in modern NBA history..who was a product of the system, so mostly not MVP
Should have shipped Hardens ass out in 2019 for the most HUMUNGOUS trade package ever and just kept CP3 #TeamCP3 All-star baby
If.....and only IF(a big IF) Harden was dead set on leaving. And you already know my opinion on that.
It's silly to assume that in perfect hindsight, doing the obviously dumb thing not only works, but works out as exactly as perfectly as you imagine it would have worked, transposing the present history of events on to the alternative history. What if that had happened and Chris Paul tears his ACL? Not only would it have looked stupid when it happened but literally become the all-time stupidest thing ever.
IF there was any chance CP3 can get past the Lakers to play Harden and Nets. Imagine that finals. Suns wont get past Lakers but if they did. Harden would get let down by cp3 Suns for title? Imagine that thou. Be funny.
