So now we've gotten through the easy part of that 20-game stretch referred to in this thread and sliced up all those chumps like a hot knife through butter. Like me, I'm sure you've all enjoyed our flex on the NBA for the last few weeks, but now we're going to hit the more difficult stretch of our schedule. In fact, we have the most difficult stretch in the entire league, by a comfortable margin: We got our wish! Now the future of our franchise relies on these things: 1. a rookie GM 2. a rookie head coach 3. an arrogant, impulsive owner who has proven unwilling to spend the necessary money to win 4. a "franchise" player who was a sub as recently as the middle of last season 5. a G-leaguer with a record of attitude problems 6. a f%$king ping-pong ball To hell with Harden, I'm stoked! How about you guys?
Honestly, we’re technically already in a top 3 pick so there’s no reason to try and succeed. Having the hardest schedule left just makes that more probable and I’m here for it.
of course we have the most difficult schedule—we’re the worst team in the league! we’ll show those Timberwolves a thing or two before we’re done
I wonder how close the Pistons are to having a top easier schedule. Bodes well for us they aren’t on this graphic like the Wolves.
Rockets on most team’s easiest opponents list...we’re now NBA fodder since I’m a proud tank squad member, I’ll allow it
At least we have 3 games against the Timberwolves! We will win at least 2 of those. I will say this. With Harden gone, we won't have to worry about ANYONE choking in the playoffs. So that's cool.
Imagine someone 2 years ago seeing "Jazz, Suns" being hardest opponents and "Rockets" being easiest opponents, and not thinking it was a joke picture.
What a sad moment for this team. I appreciate you guys for creating the LOLs among this tragedy. When we debated around the treadmill of mediocrity with Lex as an owner, I was wrong. I would rather feel excited about my team every single game.
That is true because we won't be seeing the playoffs in a long long long long long time. Cant choke if you dont get there.
10 more games before D-day (Deadline-day). One game before all star break and then 9 more games. Just don't get hurt. Nwaba already hurt his hand dunking. Don't go Chris Clemons on us!
It seems to me like we will get the 4th pick or better but sadly after the latest reports about how cheap tillman has been then it doesnt mean anything for our future because as soon as a player gets expensive they'll just trade him whether we are winning or not. I dont see the rockets winning a chip with tillman as owner and i hope im wrong.
Tanking doesn't work if you get pick 12. Being really bad straight away is better than being halfway bad for a while. As you have noted, we need a franchise level player to build around. So far we don't have one. A top 4 draft pick is perhaps our best shot in the short term?
Yes. But 10 games during that stretch of time. Hopefully Patrick Fertitta doesn't wait for all trades to be on the 25th......I mean R Stone
