Delta 8 is legit. For me personally though, carts will never replace flower. Its more of a "on the go" type thing. Also.... ****WARNING****** Ive bought serveral Delta 8 carts at several different spots. Based on my research, FAKE DELTA 8 PRODUCTS are circulating in the market and can be DANGEROUS TO CONSUME b/c no ones know what kind of chemical is in the fake ones. The fake ones pose as other popular brands (TKO is one of the more popular ones) and the packaging can also look cheap. Ive been pleased with 2 places specifically. CBD Kratom and CBD American Shaman of Houston Heights I was skeptical of the $40 and $80 differences in prices/quality but they both get the job done. The $80 Beezbee carts at CBD Kratom are my favorite personally but the most expensive. Not to say the $40 Budzsburns carts at American Shaman are bad but both products/brands can be verified online as well. Supposedly, you can live in Texas and have carts shipped straight from the brand of your choice online.
I used to think this as well, but I can assure you that you are just doing something wrong. Trying changing brand and dosage. I was using 250mg and 500mg and I didn't notice much unless I ate like 7 gummies. I would recommend a tincture with MCT oil and at least 1000mg. For tinctures you put the solution under your tongue for at least 1 minute (I do 3). It'll work quicker and more efficiently that way. When you have tried CBD before, what method were you using to consume it?
