Every year, I start my pepper plants indoors in January/February under LED lights (I used to use multiple T5 CFL fixtures) My upstairs gameroom is basically dedicated to starting plants. Nothing major, just a setup using heating mats, Rapid Rooter plugs, and the lights to get them kickstarted while it's still cold outside. Then I harden them outside and finish the grow outside in Root Pouches for the season. I've never done a complete grow inside or messed with complete hydroponic setups, though. I didn't do it this year just because I thought by the summer/fall I'll be running around on roadtrips again (coronavirus-willing).
