I don’t know if they’re looking for the most value from their trades, but they have completely lost control of the team here. This is the price of getting greedy with trade value. Oladipo, Gordon, Tucker, McLemore. These guys obviously don’t want to be here and they’re not interested in increasing their trade value. Hell, Dipo doesn’t even seem interested in increasing his FA value at this point. You can’t let this energy stew while getting greedy. Get these bums the **** out of here. I’ll take a truck of towels and three second round picks. Blow the ****er up already.
Silas must feel horrible, first real season, Harden plays diva, team has a streak going and crashes. Wall is tied to his massive contract.
but we were told the culture was changing. Guys want to be here it wasn't long ago when EG said this team had a similar locker room feel as the 65 win team of 2018
Silas would rather have a hungry Vipers squad and lose by 20 then this low effort trash. Hell, so would I!
lol u have harden critics doing mental gymnastics. Now: what do u expect, we were in tank mode anyways after getting slammed 11 games straights. After a sht ton of threads attacking harden of how much better we are without Harden, they pivot to this. Already knew we were sht after losing harden, but some of these posters r something else.
How come the vets aren’t hungry and giving effort? Weren’t they the ones who said they were disrespected? How do u go on and on about feeling disrespected, and then go out there and prove what was said to be right?
While I agree that trades need to happen, the goal isn't to win games right now.... so why be upset when the team loses? Every loss makes the team more likely to keep their own pick which means the rebuild is less likely to be a long and painful one. Embrace the tank, the team has.
Harden is gone and this team is a mess . Why are u blaming him? How long are we going to use him as an excuse?
losing and it's obvious. losing is no fun but none of these role players have enough talent to drag a down team back up. wood injury put a ton of pressure on role players and wall and they failed. now wall is depressed losing his bff and it shows even more. simply put, this team isn't good enough and constructed to survive losing their best player completely and losing their next best players every other day.
This is what happens when you trade away a historically great player to play "team ball". Thanks Fertits!
Yes, but the losing reminds us how Harden had no chance, and we didn’t do anything after the near miss in 2018. Harden is the highest IQ player in the league, and had to dump this mgmt to become the clear best player on a Big 3 team. Makes me sad, but now that it happened, I agree ... who cares about the losses. Keep ‘me coming.
Harden who can carry a team better then anyone not named a prime Lebron would probably carry these guys to the fourth seed but even he knew there is no hope with this roster. Hence why he had to pretty much scorched earth mode to get out.
That's dishonest, loses after a team embraces a tank job doesn't say anything about how things could have been had Harden given the team a chance rather than sabotage them in order to go be Chris Bosh and be carried in a "big 3" situation. This team is missing their best player and all the veterans know they have no future with this team since the tank is on. There nothing you can learn from games after that point. Now if Wood never gets injured, perhaps things are different, hell the Rockets had a better net rating than the Nets before Wood went down so maybe they try and make a playoff run. None of that matters now because the tank is on. What will be interesting is seeing who will quit on the Nets first when they crash and burn in the playoffs. Will it be Harden, who has a long history of quitting when things get hard, or will it be Kyrie?
CF: "We should tank! Why are we playing for a 1st-round exit? TANK! TANK! TANK!" 0-11 later... CF: "Silas sucks! We shouldn't be this bad!"
Funny thing is that, despite acting a complete unprofessional jackass on the way out, Harden felt like this group wasn’t good enough to win a NBA Championship. Was he wrong?
