There shouldn’t be a refund policy for food
    That’s the big issue

Chargebacks have been a lifesaver when companies **** us over, I never thought of it being used for this. The credit card company is supposed to do an investigation, and if it was a fraudulent chargeback there are supposed to be some pretty serious repercussions.

I'd argue it should be an option, for example, if your card was processed but the food was never delivered, or if they completely ****ed up the order in some way and refused to give a refund. It's ****ed up for the restaurants to get screwed, but it's also ****ed up for people to get screwed.

This is a tough one, but it should become apparent if someone is making frequent chargebacks on restaurants that there's fraud ongoing, and at that point, there should be criminal repercussions.

    Okay.

So she must not have been doing too bad if she planned on opening up another restaurant.

Owning a small business can be hard (depending on the business)

Whoever does that “chargeback” illegitimately deserves to be slapped. Especially that $700 example.
