Well, the play has been horrendous but missing Wood is a big part of it. With that being said, the answer to your question is NO

If I put the tanking (load management) on the side, and assume everyone on the court is really trying.

• We're 3rd most in three point attempts. But our home three point % is 32.4% and road is 34.8%. We're worse at home .

• If 3pt is not falling, other team can just play zone, put bigger guys in, or/and clog the paint. While we have guys that can penetrate with modest success; they either won't get all the calls and may not be as good as say a Harden.

• The small ball works better the 3pts are falling, but when it's not, it affects the penetration game..

The other thing I don't always buy when Silas says instead of bigs we have speed; is that how much of this is translating into offense (even against all the bad teams). Is fast breaks really saving us? If other team is decent at get-backs, or on their miss they get the offensive rebounds; we're not that much of young run and gun team.

You can still play Patton, if the other four guys want to run. Mid range is still inefficient. For the layups, the basket penetration mostly comes from iso drives, are there alternatives to this, if team's offense goes cold?

If the system is to fit the players, is it really though if our guys are not good catch and shoot 3pt shooters. You hear post game interviews that say "we're getting open/good looks". Well yea, you've been left open because opponent teams know you guys are on a skid right now behind the lines.

 

Pretty Good shot, looks pretty similar to the playoff game when 40 year old ginobili blocked him, took his cookies and traumatized him to the point we had to say he had a concussion to make sense of his play..
