I heard the decks are being cleared for LeBron, CP3 and Melo. Banana Boat Expendables.

 

Getting a top pick would feel like a reward. Right now we are putting in the sweat and tears for it. Rockets fans don't remember what it's like to have a top 3 pick but I guarantee we will be excited and these games will just be in the past.

 

Its gonna take a few years maybe longer. Depends on when do we get the new franchise player, most likely will be through draft or trade a young up and comer like we did with Harden. With our luck we are not gonna be like San Antonio or Dallas who go from David Robinson to Tim Duncan or Dirk to Luka without skipping a step. No free agents are coming here until we get a corner stone player first.

 

The problem too is these are not young talented players who are being developed. These are over the hill or cast away players who won’t be here in a few months. Nothing to be excited for a team that we all won’t remember the roster in a few years anyway.

At least with the Steve Francis, Cuttino Mobley and later Yao years we wanted to see them grow and develop and maybe get a little more help here and there along the way.

 

Never forget even when the rockets had a corner stone player no one wanted to come to houston.

 

What is painful is imagining how many playoffs the Rockets will miss with the Wall led Rockets.

Harden is a walking top 4 seed, 50 win season and at te bare minimum second round of the playoffs.Even if the composition of your roster is not great, he will do all the above has long as you have him. Only player in the nba who can do that now that Lebrun has declined

 

When you try to compare Harden (even with all his faults) with Lebron, some people look at you like you have two heads. Even with everyone jumping ship, I still had hope if Harden still wanted to be in Houston. Harden is a walking playoff birth no matter the conference.
